2010 Club Championships

Senior Club Championship 2010 - Word - PDF - positions so far here

The mystery race in the club championship can now de revealed as the Shipman Knotts race (if you didn’t already know). The date is Tuesday 31st August at 7pm.

The junior races are all from the BOFRA Calendar here and the five races are:

Sat 15th May - Sedbergh Gala
Sun 23rd May - Coniston Gullies
Sun 20th June - Helm Hill
Sat 3rd July - Kirkby Gala
Sun 1 Aug - Farleton Knott

2010 Races

Wednesday 18th August - Hoad Hill Harriers 10k - start time 7.15pm - entry form - directions - entry also available on the night

Saturday 18th September - Autumn Fair Fell Race - Orton C of E School - 1pm Starting from ‘The School Field’ Orton. Penrith, Cumbria. Provisional map of route
Senior Race - Mixed fell/road/track – 6 miles approx
Junior Race – Mixed fell/road/track - 1 ½ miles approx

Virgin London Marathon 2011 - 17th April 2011
As usual, the Club has applied for entries through its affiliation with UK Athletics. In the past, we have been allocated 2 or 3 entries and these are offered to Club members who register interest; if oversubscribed, a draw will be made at the Christmas Party in December. On this basis, if you are a Club member (and are over 18 years of age) and wish to register your interest please let either Tim Murray or I know during the next few months; please also indicate if a.) you have not previously applied: b.) you have previously applied but weren’t successful or: c.) if you have previously been successful and taken up an entry- the first two categories will receive preference. BOFRA Races

BOFRA races follow a similar format to our own Winter League, with short flagged courses. Don't forget you need to join BOFRA if you want to run in their championship, otherwise pay as you go and run for the fun of it.
